Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure all floors are properly cared for through sweeping, polishing, and deep cleaning techniques suited for various surfaces
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and maintain property integrity
- Maintain detailed cleaning logs and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial practices
- Experience working in hotels or similar hospitality settings is a significant advantage
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy items, and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation is desirable
