Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health and safety standards
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing
- Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely
- Maintain floors through proper cleaning techniques such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and floor care treatments
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies with proper technique to ensure safety
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with familiarity in janitorial or custodial duties
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper application methods for various surfaces
- Hands-on experience with floor cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning and floor care maintenance
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor furniture cleaning
- Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and operate cleaning equipment effectively
- Excellent client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address specific requests confidently
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
