Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and laundry areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience.
Weekends and holidays are required. Sundays are required.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
- Perform dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness in laundry areas, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products.
- Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and chemicals safely.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
