Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. Weekends, holidays, and sundays are required! Please do not apply if you can not work weekends.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and garments.
- Adhere to established housekeeping protocols and safety guidelines while using cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and custodial duties is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
