Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct detailed floor care routines such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and performing carpet cleaning when necessary
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas to promote health and safety
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
- Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all cleaning tools are properly maintained
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks in larger facilities or hotels to coordinate schedules and ensure consistent quality
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial roles; janitorial experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and floor care methods including carpet cleaning
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with laundry processes and equipment operation
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or hospitality environments is a plus
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
