Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various building systems and facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and general building interior maintenance. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Duties
- Perform plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and ensuring proper operation of plumbing systems.
- Conduct electrical work such as troubleshooting electrical issues, replacing outlets or switches, and maintaining electrical safety standards.
- Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance through routine inspections and repairs.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various repair and maintenance tasks across the facility.
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, cabinetry, or framing as needed.
- Perform building interior maintenance including painting, drywall repair, flooring fixes, and general upkeep to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Address customer service requests related to maintenance needs promptly and professionally.
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Skills
- Proven experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools required for repair tasks.
