Front Desk Associate
We are seeking a Hotel Front Desk Agent for set hours, but flexibility is appreciated for covering shifts when necessary. This role serves as the first point of contact for our guests and involves managing all aspects of their accommodations. Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities.
We require a strong focus on customer service, and must have at least two years of hotel front desk experience to be considered. The successful candidate will work the First shift (8am- 3pm) or second shift, from 3 PM to 11 PM. Flexibility on one more shift. This schedule makes it an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a second job. There will only be 2 or 3 shifts per week available for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform check-in and check-out tasks
- Handle phone calls from potential and current guests
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card information
- Register guests and collect necessary information (contact details, stay dates)
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Address customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Skills:
- Previous work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
- Familiarity with hotel reservation software
- Understanding of Online Travel Agency (OTA) websites
- Customer service-oriented
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
