Job Description
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all linens are properly washed, dried, folded, and restocked in storage areas. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the hotel is able to quickly turn rooms, provide support to housekeeping, and assure quality for our guests. While primarily behind the scenes, occasional guest interactions may occur in common areas. The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize all hotel linens, towels, and bedding according to brand standards.
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage; treat or separate items as needed.
- Restock and maintain linen storage rooms to ensure housekeeping staff have adequate supplies for daily operations
- Rotate and track linen inventory to prevent shortages and overstocking
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning hallways, replenishing amenities, and assisting housekeeping staff when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing machines and surfaces
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
- Monitor use of laundry chemicals and notify management when reordering is needed
- Adhere to all property safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and soiled linens.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to support smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work a daytime schedule, part-time to full-time positions available
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
- Typical work days are 8-hour shifts and may be weekends, nights, days, and / or holidays
