Housekeeper Job DescriptionPosition Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout our facility/home. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, guests, or staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
• Change bed linens and make beds as required.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other household or facility necessities.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with residents, guests, and team members.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Working Conditions

• May require standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items throughout the shift.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, may be required depending on business needs.
