Experience
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 5 years in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair required
- You have knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
- You have ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints· LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferredOSHA 10/CPR nice to have prior experience
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, sensors, valves, switches, and wiring using welding and mechanical techniques.
- Operate specialized tools like ammeters, ohmmeters, precision measuring instruments, and low/high voltage testers to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and asset histories.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting manufacturing schedules; assist with field service tasks as needed.
- Use forklifts such as scissor lifts safely for accessing elevated equipment or performing repairs in hard-to-reach areas.
Pay: $36.97 per hour
