Job Summary
The Appetizer & Curry Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking Thai appetizers and curry dishes according to restaurant recipes and quality standards. This position requires strong knowledge of Thai ingredients, attention to detail, speed, cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Thai appetizers (e.g., spring rolls, dumplings, fried items) and curry dishes (red, green, yellow, panang, massaman, pho, wonton etc.)
- Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines
- Set up and stock the appetizer and curry station before service
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and temperature
- Communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate orders
- Assist with prep work, including chopping, marinating, and sauce preparation
- Properly store food and label items according to safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory and notify management of low stock or supply needs
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a line cook or Thai cuisine cook preferred
- Knowledge of Thai ingredients, spices, and curry preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Strong time-management and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Work Schedule
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Full-time or part-time available

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
