About the Position:
We’re hiring a part-time Guest Experience & Admin Coordinator to join our team! This role combines front desk customer service with light rental support. You’ll assist guests during check-in, handle waivers and payments, provide product knowledge, and help keep the office running smoothly. You may occasionally assist with launching or retrieving gear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and check them in for their reservation
- Handle digital waivers, payments, and rental agreements using FareHarbor, DigiSigner, and Dropbox
- Provide guidance to guests about available rentals and rental package add-ons (hats, dry bags, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.)
- Answer phones, return emails, send text message to coworkers at the kayak launch to communicate arrivals, and maintain excellent communication to guests.
- Assist guests with completing digital forms on iPads or computers
- Provide park information to inquiring visitors and potential customers
- Assist guests in departure by clearly communicating next steps, park amenities, safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized front office environment, and common use area (this includes restrooms).
- Occasionally assist with pushing out kayaks/paddleboards (with training and support)
- Learn basic weather assessment, land lesson overviews, and safety practices
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfort using tech tools (iPads, reservation software, Dropbox, etc.)
- A professional, positive, and welcoming attitude
- Excellent communication skills in person, via phone, and text
- Ability to lift up to 85 lbs (occasional assistance with kayaks)
Schedule & Seasonality:
- Part-time position
- Typical hours: Daily 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Occasional holidays (e.g., Mother’s Day, Father’s Day) during peak season
- Must be available on weekends
- Peak Season: February 15 – August 15
- Off-Season: August 15 – November 15 (light to no hours)
- Closed on select holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Memorial Day
