SUNY Schenectady County Community College seeks a full-time ATTAIN Lab Coordinator for the Schenectady Outreach Center. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Schenectady Outreach Center (SOC), the ATTAIN Lab Coordinator (ALC) will provide on-site and remote coordination and facilitation of activities contained in the ATTAIN Lab. These include participant intake, needs assessment, software navigation support, IT support training and overall lab management. In coordination with the SOC and ATTAIN project staff, this position will work to achieve the enrollment, usage and outcomes specified in their performance objectives and Program Year Plan (PYP). This is an administrative staff (unrepresented), full-time, grant funded, (12-month) position subject to annual appropriation of longstanding funds by New York State.

ATTAIN (Advanced Technology Training and Information Networking) is a statewide technology initiative funded by New York State to provide urban and rural communities access to training and technology. ATTAIN provides access to academic, occupational, life skills and workplace readiness training in coordination with local community-based host agencies.

SUNY Schenectady County Community College administers SOC, while the center is overseen by the SUNY University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (UCAWD). UCAWD operates 10 Educational Opportunity Centers (EOCs), two Outreach Centers and thirty-three ATTAIN Labs across New York State that provide adult education, workforce development programs and further support to underserved residents (not SUNY Schenectady students). SOC is located at 201 State Street in Downtown Schenectady.

Responsibilities:
Proficient delivery of ATTAIN services and self-paced resources (e.g., Academic Preparation, Career and Technical Education, ESL and Language Learning), Microsoft Certification training resources and any additional online third-party resource(s)
Conduct ATTAIN enrollment process and maintain participant records utilizing ATTAIN's Learning Management System and third-party courseware accounts
Determine participant Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) eligibility
Facilitate in-person and virtual orientations, trainings, and ongoing participant support
Proctor certification exams through ATTAIN's Certiport Authorized Testing Centers
Create and maintain a clean, comfortable and orderly learning environment in the lab
Report any technical issues and their resolutions to UCAWD, Program Coordinator and the Program Manager
Conduct social media outreach and promotional activities as approved by UCAWD, Program Coordinator and the Project Manager
Support participant self-paced learning by providing technical and navigational assistance and tracking performance and outcomes, both remotely and in person.
Submit monthly status reports, and maintain regular communication with UCAWD, Program Coordinator and the Project Manager
Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/o gathering information required to perform functions
Assess potential partnerships based on strategic fit, alignment with organizational goals, and potential impact on the lab's mission and objectives.
Nurture ongoing relationships with partners, collaborators, and referral sources to strengthen engagement and maximize opportunities for collaboration and referrals.
Maintain an up-to-date monthly lab calendar
Become familiar with, support, and uphold SOC and SUNY Schenectady's policies and procedures
Evening and weekend hours (as applicable)
Travel locally, including for recruitment purposes
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with adult population (training, advising and/or mentoring).
Experience with instructional computer software applications
Experience working with underserved/underprepared populations.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and presentation skills.
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to promote professional and ethical behavior.
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education or related discipline strongly preferred
Experience managing enrollment accounts and the intake processes using an online management system.
Ability to troubleshoot IT productivity software, applications and services.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience working with TANF recipients
Experience in community outreach
Microsoft certifications

Additional Information:
Salary: $50,000
