What are the responsibilities and job description for the GED Math Instructor (P/T) - SUNY Orange position at SUNY Orange?
SUNY Orange Plus is seeking a Part-Time Math Instructor to teach GED Math and Science during the Spring 2026 semester.
We currently have openings for GED Math/Science Instructors to teach morning and/or evening classes, offered both in-person and virtually at the Middletown and Newburgh campuses.
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three years experience teaching secondary-level math to young adults
Preferred:
- Certification in the subject area with prior secondary or GED teaching experience
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Knowledge of technology to effectively teach virtual classes
- Willingness to teach a small unit of science within the regular math class

Salary: $31.00-$35.00 per hour, based on academic qualifications and experience
