GED Math Instructor (P/T) - SUNY Orange

SUNY Orange Plus is seeking a Part-Time Math Instructor to teach GED Math and Science during the Spring 2026 semester.

We currently have openings for GED Math/Science Instructors to teach morning and/or evening classes, offered both in-person and virtually at the Middletown and Newburgh campuses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Three years experience teaching secondary-level math to young adults

Preferred:

• Certification in the subject area with prior secondary or GED teaching experience
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Knowledge of technology to effectively teach virtual classes
• Willingness to teach a small unit of science within the regular math class

Salary: $31.00-$35.00 per hour, based on academic qualifications and experience
