Resident Assistant (Summer 2025)

SUNY Delhi seeks students to work in Residence Life hosting visiting summer groups and students.

Summer Resident Assistants will:

• Prepare residence halls and rooms for summer students, camps, and conferences

• Assist in check ins/check outs for camps and conferences

• Maintain inventory by counting, distributing, collecting, and washing linens

• Plan and carry out activities for residential students and guests including weekly programming for summer students

• Provide office coverage and share on-duty work responsibilities

• Assist with general office tasks, including answering and returning telephone calls, preparing mailings, filing, and fall semester preparations

• Assist in various projects for the Office of Residence Life including cleaning and organizing spaces

• Interact with new students through phone calls, email, and social media and through daily campus tours and admissions (may receive extra compensation for daily tours)

• • Excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette
  • Must be organized, attentive to detail, and team oriented with good customer service skills
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Have and maintain a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA
  • Be in good judicial standing with the College
  • Reside on campus during Fall 2025

• Preferred requirements

  • Previous experience as a Resident Assistant (RA)

  Job requires student to live on campus during the summer

• Free room and meals when available

• Rate of pay: Weekly stipend of $310.00 (Summer Resident Assistant), $340 (Senior Summer Resident Assistant); pay will be prorated if the employee takes vacation or sick time, and prior to the end of the spring semester

• May 18, 2025 to August 9, 2025 (20 hours per week on average, hours may vary week to week)
