Sunward Federal Credit Union is looking for a Recruiter who is passionate about connecting great people with meaningful careers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring we attract and hire top talent to support our growing business. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and external partners to deliver a high-touch, relationship-driven recruiting and onboarding experience.

Recruitment & Talent Attraction
- Build and promote a strong employment brand while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using traditional recruiting methods, external vendors, and creative approaches.
- Screen, evaluate, and qualify candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements and organizational needs.
- Partner closely with hiring managers, providing regular updates on candidate status, feedback, and next steps.
- Maintain relationships with recruiting vendors and headhunters to support hiring goals.
- Present recruiting updates and requisition status to leadership, both verbally and in writing.
- Support offer development and presentation for selected candidates.
- Coordinate and review background checks and pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain accurate and compliant recruiting records in accordance with federal and state requirements.
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure new hires have the tools, access, and resources needed on day one.
- Create and manage onboarding and orientation schedules tailored to individual roles.
- Assist new employees with employment documentation, including tax forms, contracts, and benefits enrollment.
- Partner with IT to coordinate equipment setup and system access for new hires.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requisitions and initiatives at once.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using technology and digital communication tools.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in recruiting, sales, human resources, financial services, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field or equivalent professional experience (two or more years) in lieu of a degree.
