Position Overview:
Over the past two years, the Project Finance & Capital Markets team has executed more than $450 million in capital transactions. The team leads capital structuring strategy across project-level and corporate facilities as the platform scales, building durable relationships with leading banks and private investors across the energy transition.
SunVest is seeking a high-performing Manager, Project Finance to serve as a key contributor within the structured finance function. Reporting directly to the VP, this individual will help lead transaction execution, drive diligence processes, and support capital structuring strategy across construction debt, term debt, and tax credit monetization transactions. This role is designed for someone ready to step into greater deal ownership, interface directly with lenders and institutional partners, and grow into a senior leadership role as the platform scales.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Lead financial modeling and analysis for project and portfolio-level financings.
- Manage lender and counterparty diligence processes from kickoff through close.
- Support structuring and negotiation of construction, term, and structured capital facilities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Development, Accounting, Legal, and Asset Management teams.
- Prepare investment committee materials and external financing presentations.
- Monitor market conditions and proactively evaluate capital optimization opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members and help refine modeling and execution processes.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, infrastructure private equity, structured credit, actuarial, or related fields.
- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to independently build and pressure-test complex models.
- Experience managing diligence processes or interfacing with lenders/investors.
- Strong commercial instincts and comfort negotiating financial terms.
- Renewable energy or real assets experience preferred but not required.
What Success Looks Like
Within 6–12 months, you are independently leading financing workstreams, managing lender relationships, and serving as a trusted thought partner to the VP on structuring strategy.

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $105k-150k.
