Overview
Suntrek is seeking an experienced Solar Pool Heating Service & Installation Technician to join our Las Vegas team. This role is ideal for a technician with hands-on experience in solar pool heating systems or similar rooftop plumbing systems who can both diagnose/repair existing systems and perform new installations.
We are a leading solar pool heating manufacturer and contractor with over 30,000 customers, and we’re looking for a skilled technician who can contribute immediately in the field.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair solar pool heating systems (leaks, flow issues, valve failures, controller issues, etc.)
- Install new solar pool heating systems, including collectors, plumbing, and mounting hardware
- Perform rooftop layout, pipe runs, and system tie-ins to existing pool equipment
- Conduct system startups, testing, and performance verification
- Safely access and work on two-story residential roofs
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and identify root causes
- Communicate clearly with customers and document service/install work
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and job site professionalism
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience with solar pool heating systems OR similar systems (pool plumbing, solar thermal, rooftop plumbing, etc.)
- Strong understanding of PVC plumbing, valves, and pool circulation systems
- Experience with installation and/or service work in the field
- Comfortable working on roofs and at heights
- Ability to work independently and complete jobs efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred:
- Experience installing solar collectors and mounting systems
- Background in pool equipment repair, plumbing, or solar installation
- Ability to lead or assist on installation crews
