Job Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Animal Care Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs and cats, providing exceptional care in a daycare setting.
Duties:
-Part time 6a.m.-10a.m. or 3p.m.-6p.m. Flexible days
-10-25 hours per week (additional hours seasonally)
- Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime to ensure a safe and positive environment
- Feed and administer medications to dogs as directed by pet owners
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including cleaning up after dogs
- Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds with confidence and care
- Knowledge of basic animal care practices and understanding of dog behavior
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Weekend availability on rotational schedule required
