HIRING IMMEDIATELY  

Sunstates Security is currently hiring for a Full-Time Security Operations Badging Officer in the Spartanburg, SC area. 1st shift is available! This position offers a pay rate of $20.00/hr - paid weekly.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Process new employee, contractor, and visitor badges.
• Maintain badge inventory and ensure proper issuance and return.
• Monitor badge activity and report anomalies immediately.
• Enforce facility access policies consistently and professionally.
• Support onboarding by coordinating badge photos and credential setup.
• Respond to access issues, troubleshoot badge malfunctions, and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure badging workstation.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, contractors, and guests.

Technical & Operational Requirements: 

• Experience with access control systems.
• Ability to issue, activate, deactivate, and track badges accurately.
• Familiarity with visitor management systems.
• Ability to verify identity documents and follow strict authentication procedures.
• Competence in maintaining badge logs, audit trails, and daily activity reports.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection protocols.
• Ability to follow SOPs, post orders, and escalation procedures without deviation.

Qualifications:  

• Prior experience in corporate security or access control roles.
• Familiarity with incident reporting platforms (Visions, TrackTik, etc.).
• Experience in customer facing administrative roles.
• Knowledge of basic security principles and emergency procedures.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
