Job Skills / Requirements

HIRING IMMEDIATELY 

We are currently hiring for Security Officers for in the Spartanburg, SC area. These positions have a starting pay range of $20/hr, dependent on-site placement, and are paid weekly.   

Key Responsibilities: 

·Conduct regular patrols of the property on foot and via golf cart. 

· Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. 

· Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies. 

· Communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, and in-person. 

· Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using computer systems. 

· Collaborate effectively with team members, building management, and law enforcement when necessary. 

· Provide excellent customer service and always maintain a professional demeanor. 

· Enforce building policies and procedures consistently and respectfully. 

· Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises. 

· Assist with evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols. 

Qualifications:  

· Minimum 1 year of experience in physical security or a related field. 

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.  

· Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., email, incident reporting software). 

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.  

· Must be able to work all shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.  

· Reliable transportation to and from the worksite. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

· Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.  

· High school diploma or equivalent required, additional security certifications a plus. 

Preferred Skills:  

· Familiarity with professional building operations and tenant relations.  

· CPR/First Aid certification.  

· Experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring. 

Work Environment:  

· Indoor and outdoor patrols in varying weather conditions.  

· Standing, walking, and driving a golf cart for extended periods.  

· Interaction with tenants, visitors, and building staff.
