Sunstates Security Is Hiring Unarmed Security Officers In The Spartanburg, SC Area. This Is a Full-time Position With Shifts Available Monday, Friday, Saturday And Sunday With The Following Rotating Schedule

Week 1: Friday-Sunday 06:00 – 18:00 (Days)

Week 2: Friday-Monday 06:00 – 18:00 (Days)

&

Week 1: Friday-Sunday 18:00 – 06:00 (Nights)

Week 2: Friday-Monday 18:00 – 06:00 (Nights)

This position offers a pay rate of $20.00/hr, with weekly pay. 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the property on foot and via golf cart.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, and in-person.
• Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using computer systems.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, building management, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service and always maintain a professional demeanor.
• Enforce building policies and procedures consistently and respectfully.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Assist with evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1 years in physical security related fields. 
• Ability to enter data in multiple platforms and possesses intermediate to advanced word processing skills. 
• Advanced oral and written communication skills, enough to provide information, deliver information to leadership, and answer inquiries. 
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to work all shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional security certifications a plus.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Computing Facilities.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring.
  
  

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor patrols in varying weather conditions.
• Standing, walking, sitting, and/or driving a golf cart for extended periods.
• Interaction with tenants, visitors, and building staff.
• Active construction site. PPE required.
  
  

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
