We are currently hiring for Full-Time Downtown Front Desk Officer for in the Downtown Charlotte, NC area.
Monday- Saturday, 1st and 2nd shift is available.
Pay: $19.50/hr- weekly pay
Applicants must have excellent customer service, good communication skills and have a professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet, welcome, and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage visitor sign-in and maintain front desk security procedures
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization
- Schedule meetings and manage conference room calendars
- Assist with basic administrative tasks (data entry, filing, scanning)
- Support office supply inventory and ordering
- Coordinate with internal teams to direct inquiries appropriately
- Follow company policies related to confidentiality and professionalism
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, phone systems) Ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
· Conduct regular patrols of the property on foot and via golf cart.
· Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
· Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
· Communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, and in-person.
· Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using computer systems.
· Collaborate effectively with team members, building management, and law enforcement when necessary.
· Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
· Enforce building policies and procedures consistently and respectfully.
· Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
· Assist with evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 year of experience in physical security or a related field.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., email, incident reporting software).
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
· Must be able to work all shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
