Bilingual Solar Project Foreman


Sunstall Inc. is a rapidly growing Solar Construction Company specializing in ground-mount solar installation with expertise in renewable energy project delivery, particularly solar farms. We support nationwide commercial solar projects. Sunstall Inc. is especially seeking foremen who support the QUALITY installation of Solar Photovoltaic arrays in a SAFE, POSITIVE, and EFFICIENT manner.


Job Description

An overall team leader, manager, and member who oversees and supports crews engaged in the QUALITY assembly of solar photovoltaic arrays in a SAFE, POSITIVE, and EFFICIENT manner.

Main Activities:

  • Supervise and manage all team leaders and project resource allocation by task; equipment and personnel, to deliver necessary production to keep the project on time/budget.
  • Act as the task safety supervisor; correct safety concerns and report all hazards.
  • Organize, assign, and oversee the team's completion of the project including detailed planning and implementation of production steps to deliver a high-quality product most efficiently and safely.
  • Communicate expectations, train and lead the Team Leaders - be the first contact person and problem solver for both team leaders and site supervisors.
  • ensure that all project specifications are being conformed to, inspected, and commissioned on a day-to-day basis.
  • Identify potential issues relating to labor, tools, materials, or processes that may impact on-time and quality production, and bring them to the attention of the site supervisor.
  • Complete overall quality control program execution, in partnership with the team leaders.
  • Assist site supervisor in the preparation of production, labor, safety, and quality reports.
  • Oversee the correct disposal and/or recycling of generated trash.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the project site.
  • Other tasks as directed by the site supervisor or project manager.
  • Execute/lead small projects in place of site supervisor.


Additional Tasks:

  • Identify process improvements to increase safety, production efficiency, and quality.
  • Seek opportunities to reduce waste, trash, and emissions.
  • Follow instructions of HR and Sunstall Admin as necessary for pay, travel, or other administrative issues.

  • Overall understanding of solar installation processes and procedures:
  • Quality control, Site Layout, Equipment maintenance and inspection, Racking installation, Solar panel installation, Pile Driving Operations
  • Good understanding of safety programs and standards.
  • Good understanding of tool management and maintenance.
  • Ability to tow a trailer desired.
  • Ability to comfortably lift 75 lbs required.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to cope with pressure.
  • Basic computer skills (Google Suite).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Traveling / time away from home is required.


Other Requirements:

  • Ability to use a smartphone and/or tablet to enter information/data or make reports
  • Regular drug tests and background checks (driver's license, etc.) to ensure the safety of all employees.
