What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A CDL Driver position at SUNSOUTH, LLC?
SunSouth, LLC is looking for an experienced Class A CDL Driver.
Responsibilities:
- Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities.
- Proficient in using e-logs, daily pre-trip inspections, and fuel receipt submissions.
- Maintains accurate records regarding pick up and delivery of equipment which includes obtaining necessary signatures and receipts.
- Proficient in using current technology (cell phone, tablet, etc.).
- Instructs customers on basic equipment operating procedures as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 months experience operating semi-trailer trucks.
- Prior experience moving oversized agricultural equipment preferred.
- Prior experience in commercial vehicle maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of loading and unloading various types of agricultural equipment, to include binding and strapping preferred.
Requirements:
- Clean driving record.
- Valid CDL license.
- Current medical card.
- Able to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
