JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Classification: Full-time, Permanent, Exempt
Department: Clinical Services
Reports to: ABA Manager
Designation: Non-Safety Sensitive

Sunshine School & Development Center is hiring a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)! Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision/Leadership
- Participate in hiring and training RBT staff to ensure high quality services.
- Lead a team of RBTs in providing evidence based, individualized treatment.
- Screenings and Assessments
- Complete comprehensive evaluations
- Collaborate with students’ families to recommend interventions needed and next steps.
- Create individualized treatment plans for students who qualify.
- Oversee evidence-based ABA treatment implementation.
- Provide appropriate interventions for qualifying students, such as:
- Family training
- Individual treatment
- Classroom consultation
- Design and implement data collection techniques and procedures.
- Monitor qualifying children’s progress and make modifications as needed to facilitate progress.
- Consultation & Training
- Collaborate with the students’ teams to provide clinical recommendations for Individual Treatment Plans.
- Consult with families and other staff to generalize skills across environments.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet regularly with manager and other key staff as needed.
- Assist manager in conducting a program evaluation.
- Complete continuing education requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Credentialed with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience leading and supervising RBTs and exam candidates.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities and their families, preferred.
- Experience utilizing screening and assessment tools to ascertain client needs and identify appropriate interventions.
- Experience with program implementation and evaluation.
- Experience working on interdisciplinary teams is preferred.
- Essential physical and mental requirements to perform the duties of this position include:
- Background clearance from the Arkansas State Police and Central Registries for Child and Adult Abuse and Maltreatment.
- Meet agency’s drug screening requirements.
Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time. Regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
