Duties
- Operate and maintain high-pressure washer safely and efficiently.
- Prepare work sites by setting up hoses, nozzles, and safety barriers to ensure smooth operations.
- Assess surfaces to determine the appropriate cleaning methods and pressure levels for optimal results.
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks on building exteriors, sidewalks, parking lots, decks, and other surfaces.
- Inspect equipment regularly for wear and tear; perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to protect yourself, colleagues, and clients during all operations.
- Document completed work, including areas cleaned, techniques used, and any issues encountered for quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating pressure washing or similar cleaning equipment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to high-pressure equipment use.
- Ability to read and interpret surface assessment instructions to select appropriate cleaning methods.
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, kneel, lift heavy hoses or equipment, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and explaining work processes to clients.
- Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting minor equipment issues are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with CDL Class B with tanker endorsement required.
- Good driving record that will be insurable.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol drug screening.
