What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Occupational Therapist position at SUNSHINE PHYSICAL THERAPY CLINIC?
We are looking for a fantastic Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric department. Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic, a nonprofit outpatient rehabilitation facility serving Indian River County since 1953, is currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available. This position involves providing patient care in our pediatric outpatient program, working with children who present with a wide range of diagnoses and developmental needs. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Direct supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants is required.
The successful candidate must be licensed in the State of Florida and have at least one year of experience with the pediatric population; three years is preferred. Medicaid certification is a plus, as is experience with InSync and/or MedBridge platforms. Experience working with adults with special needs is also beneficial.
