IV Nurses:
Are you a seasoned IV nurse eager to advance your career while delivering exceptional patient care? Sunshine Mobile IV is in search of dedicated IV nurses to join our East Valley team to work evenings and weekends. We are offering a unique independent contractor position that includes providing IV services to patients in their homes and various locations. Our IV Nurses have privileged access to comprehensive Quality Standards compliant with AZBN and USP 797 guidelines, in addition to receiving detailed medication and vitamin profiles to facilitate patient education and comprehensive care. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to care for patients with diverse medical conditions, such as nausea, vomiting, GI distress, influenza, COVID-19, cancer treatments, pregnant or breastfeeding mothers, and more, making this a rewarding and dynamic nursing opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor intravenous therapies and medications with precision and care as prescribed by medical director in various settings, including homes, offices, and hotels/air b&b's.
• Perform physical examinations and assessments on patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.
• Provide patient education on IV therapy options and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Exhibit exceptional customer service skills when interacting with patients and their families.
• Thrive in an independent work environment, taking initiative to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and a strong drive to succeed in building a regular patient base.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Arizona.
• 3 years nursing experience
• 1 year IV infusion experience
• Valid BLS certification
• Valid ACLS certification
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Proficiency in IV therapy techniques, protocols, and equipment
• Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
• Strong knowledge of nursing care principles and practices
• Ability to provide excellent patient care in various settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare team members and educate patients
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize patient needs
• Available to work evening shifts and weekends

Additional Information:

• As independent contractors, nurses are responsible for independently purchasing essential supplies required for IV treatments, including vitamins, medications, travel bags, medication coolers, IV supplies, and any other necessary items, from our authorized supply partners. An exhaustive list of these supplies will be furnished upon commencement.
• Nurses are required to use their own means of transportation for patient appointments and service delivery.
