Sunshine Industries Unlimited is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our Landscaping Small Group Supported Employment Team!
This position combines Direct Support Professional (DSP) responsibilities with hands on job coaching and crew supervision in a community employment (landscaping) setting.
Staff supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) while working alongside them on groudskeeping crews throughout Linn County.
What you'll do:
Support idividuals with I/DD in a community landscaping employment setting.
Assist individuals in learning and maintaining job skills.
Provide job coaching, encouragement, and supervision.
Work alongside individuals on groundskeeping crews.
Promote workplace safety and positive work habits.
Complete required documentation and communication.
Drive agency vehicles and transport indivituals to and from job sites.

Starting wage of $18 per hour
5% raise after 6 months

Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Able or willing to learn to drive a small bus
Able to or willing to learn to tow and back a trailer
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift, bend, walk and perform physical job duties
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills for documentation
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
