Pediatric Registered Nurse (In-Home Care)

Compensation: $49.00 – $52.00 per hour

We're currently seeking a compassionate Pediatric RN to provide one-on-one in-home care for an amazing young boy. He is non-verbal but expressive, playful, and full of joy-with the brightest smile that will light up your day.

Schedule Options:

• Weekday Evenings: 4:00pm – 12:00am

• Weekday Overnights: 12:00am – 6:30am

• Weekends: Flexible open availability

Clinical Experience Required:

• G-Tube feeding

• Glucose monitoring & insulin coverage

• Catheterizations

• Nebulizer treatments

• Epi-Pen administration

• Seizure precautions / epilepsy supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct pediatric nursing care in the home setting.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.

• Monitor, document, and report client's health status.

• Respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.

• Manage and maintain medical devices (feeding tubes, catheters, etc.).

• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers.

• Follow the individualized care plan set by the RN Case Manager and physician.

• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program

• Active New York State RN license in good standing

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred

• Homecare or community health experience a plus

• Current CPR certification

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong pediatric care skills

• Excellent communication with children and families

• Ability to remain calm in emergencies

• Detail-oriented and organized documentation habits

• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
