What You’ll Do
You’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals on their mental health journey while ensuring exceptional care and compliance standards:
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using ASAM Criteria and DSM-5-TR standards.
- Provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling, education, and recovery-focused services.
- Facilitate outpatient treatment groups and assist in the development and implementation of treatment curricula.
- Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, conduct service plan reviews, clinical staffing, discharge planning, and discharge summaries.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, attendance records, and billing documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, families, community partners, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support positive outcomes.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to substance withdrawal symptoms, relapse risks, and treatment barriers.
- Collect random urine drug screens as required.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including confidentiality requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and agency meetings.
