Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)
Full-Time, Monday-Friday 

Join our team as a Substance Use Disorder Professional and play a vital role in helping individuals achieve and maintain recovery. This position provides outpatient substance use disorder assessment, treatment planning, individual counseling, group facilitation, and case coordination services within a multidisciplinary behavioral health environment.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals on their mental health journey while ensuring exceptional care and compliance standards:

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using ASAM Criteria and DSM-5-TR standards.
  • Provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling, education, and recovery-focused services.
  • Facilitate outpatient treatment groups and assist in the development and implementation of treatment curricula.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, conduct service plan reviews, clinical staffing, discharge planning, and discharge summaries.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, attendance records, and billing documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, community partners, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support positive outcomes.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to substance withdrawal symptoms, relapse risks, and treatment barriers.
  • Collect random urine drug screens as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including confidentiality requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and agency meetings.
