Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients while adhering to all healthcare regulations and protocols. 7a-7p
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, including injections, as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and medical history
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as collecting samples or preparing patients for examinations
- Provide basic patient care, including wound dressing, catheterization, and tube feeding
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of MS
- Proven experience administering injections and performing other nursing procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
