Duties
- Assist the Service Manager with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing service workflows
- Answer phones with professionalism
- Prepare detailed service estimates for repairs and maintenance using dealership software and diagnostic tools
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and estimated completion times
- Support upselling of additional services or upgrading from service to new sales
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately while maintaining proper records
- Maintain organized service records, warranty documentation, and customer files to ensure compliance and easy retrieval
- Assist with inventory control, receiving, shipping.
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and mechanical systems in
- Hands-on experience with auto estimating software and automotive repair procedures
- Proven ability to upsell services while maintaining excellent customer relationships
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem-solving
- Basic cash handling skills combined with a solid understanding of automotive sales processes
- Experience in a golf car dealership a plus
