Project Scope:
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint /
Microsoft 365 Consultant to support a Microsoft Office 365 Government G5
environment. The consultant will be responsible for SharePoint development,
configuration, administration, security, Power Platform solutions, and
day-to-day operational support.
The ideal candidate should have strong
experience with SharePoint Online, Office 365 Government, Active Directory,
Power BI, PowerApps, PowerShell, and web technologies, along with an
understanding of government security and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, test,
modify, and deploy SharePoint sites, forms, and workflows.
· Design solutions
and system architectures aligned with business requirements.
· Administer and
maintain SharePoint sites and subsites.
· Manage SharePoint
permissions, security, layouts, structures, and content.
· Provide technical
support to SharePoint end users.
· Monitor
SharePoint usage and generate usage reports.
· Perform site
cleanup and remove unused sites.
· Support Office
365 Government G5 environment management, permissions, and security.
· Deploy
custom-developed and third-party SharePoint solutions.
· Configure
SharePoint services and settings.
· Develop and
maintain SharePoint configuration and architecture documentation.
· Create project,
technical, and system documentation.
· Manage site
quotas and file-size limitations.
· Create
architecture diagrams and technology navigation maps.
· Support Power BI
and Power Platform solutions.
· Collaborate with
project teams, customers, and subject matter experts during system design and
testing.
· Assist with
integrating systems to improve workflows, security, and data quality.
· Support
cybersecurity policies and procedures aligned with government security
standards.
· Assist with
information risk management, data classification, confidentiality, and data
protection.
· Provide regular
project and operational status updates.
· Work with the
M365 Solutions Manager to prioritize and schedule workloads.
· Provide
operational support outside traditional business hours when required.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 6 years of experience with Microsoft Office 365
SharePoint.
· 6 years of experience with security and data
classification related to CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS requirements.
· 3 years of experience designing and implementing
state-level Public Health system architectures.
· 6 years of experience with Microsoft Active
Directory.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with Office
365 Power BI.
· 6 years of experience with Azure Power Platform,
Power BI, and PowerApps.
· 6 years of experience with PowerShell scripting.
· 6 years of experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript,
XML, and RSS.
· Experience
working with Microsoft Government cloud environments.
· Knowledge of
cloud security, Zero Trust principles, role-based access control, and secure
configuration practices.
· Experience with
government cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional
experience.
