Project Scope:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network
Engineer to support a statewide enterprise network infrastructure and serve as a key technical resource within a Network Operations Center
(NOC) environment.
This role involves managing complex network
environments, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and
security compliance, and providing advanced troubleshooting and support
with minimal supervision.
Key
Responsibilities:
Network
Administration & Support
- Configure,
install, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure components
- Manage and
support routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Maintain
network documentation, including diagrams and configurations
- Provide
day-to-day operational support for enterprise network systems
Troubleshooting
& Performance Optimization
- Diagnose and
resolve complex network issues and outages
- Monitor
network performance and ensure optimal connectivity
- Perform root
cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Security
& Compliance
- Implement
and maintain network security best practices
- Ensure
systems are compliant with security standards and policies
- Support
firewall configurations and threat detection tools
Network
Design & Implementation
- Support
network architecture design, configuration, and enhancements
- Work on
routing, switching, and voice-integrated network environments
- Assist with
upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements
Collaboration
& Knowledge Sharing
- Work closely
with cross-functional technical teams
- Provide
knowledge transfer and informal training to team members
