Project Scope:
Seeking an experienced ADABAS Natural
Programmer to support and enhance Retirement Claims and Financial Services
applications. The consultant will work within a collaborative team environment
utilizing the NaturalONE/Eclipse development platform and ADABAS databases.
This role includes both application development and production support
responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop,
maintain, and support applications using Natural and ADABAS.
· Analyze business
requirements and implement technical solutions.
· Support
Retirement Claims and Financial Services systems.
· Participate in
design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance activities.
· Troubleshoot
production issues and provide ongoing application support.
· Modify and
enhance existing applications and business processes.
· Create and
maintain technical documentation.
· Provide
mentoring, training, and technical guidance to staff members.
· Collaborate with
business users, analysts, and technical teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 6 years of
hands-on experience with Natural Programming and ADABAS databases.
· Experience
working in Eclipse/NaturalONE development environment.
· Strong experience
supporting production systems and troubleshooting issues.
· Knowledge of
Payroll, Accounting, Financial Systems, or related business applications.
· Strong
analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with
JCL.
· Batch and Online
Processing experience.
· Technical
documentation experience.
· Knowledge of
software version control and development best practices.
· Experience
integrating legacy systems with modern technologies.
· Retirement Claims
domain experience is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be
considered.
