What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Driver/Shuttle Driver position at Sunshine Cleaners?
At Sunshine Cleaners, it's all about customer service! With retail stores, a fleet of delivery vans, and a state-of-the-art production facility, we pick up, clean and deliver dry cleaning and laundry for our customers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record
- 1year prior customer service or sales experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- High energy level
Preferred:
- Prior route sales experience
Working Conditions
Driving company van frequently
Frequently lift 5-25 pounds of clothing in hangers or bags
Frequently climb into and out of a van while carrying bagged or hung clothing
Occasionally climb stairs while carrying bagged or hung clothing
Frequently bending to lift customer bags from the ground
Job Duties:
- Safely drive company van to pick up and deliver clothes to clients’ homes and/or businesses according to the assigned route.
- Provide exceptional customer service, and establish and maintain positive, professional relationship with customers. Utilize active listening techniques to determine customer’s needs and provide solutions. Educate customers on services offered and pricing.
- Report customer complaints or other exceptional events/contacts to leadership and provide insight into ways to improve the effectiveness of route sales. Provide service recovery on the spot where possible.
- Perform other duties and needed or required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
