Monday–Friday | 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
(11:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Broward County School Early Release Days)

Position Overview
Sunshine After School Child Care is seeking bilingual, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children. After Care Counselors assist with planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities for school-aged children in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
Schedule Requirements
Applicants must be available: Monday–Friday: 1:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Early Release Days: 11:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
-Candidates must meet local and state licensing requirements, including:
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-High School Diploma or GED required
-Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
-Reliable transportation
-Enjoy working with children and be a team player
Pre-Employment & Training Requirements
-Pass federal and local background checks (School Board fingerprinting)
We fingerprint through:
-Complete a physical examination within 48 hours of hire (Paid for by Sunshine)
-Complete 45 hours of Child Care training within one year of employment
-Obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days (Scheduled and paid for by Sunshine)
