Carpet & Tile Cleaning Technician

Sunshine Carpet & Tile Cleaning is a small, locally owned company serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Oklahoma City metro. We believe in doing excellent work, treating people well, and creating opportunities for dependable team members to grow with us.

Our company is expanding, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and is comfortable working a flexible schedule as customer demand changes.

• Travel to homes and commercial properties throughout the OKC metro
• Professionally clean carpet, tile, grout, upholstery, and other flooring surfaces
• Set up and break down hoses, tools, machines, and other equipment
• Safely operate and care for company vehicles and professional cleaning equipment
• Communicate respectfully with customers and coworkers
• Provide a reliable, high-quality experience on every job
• Follow job instructions and complete work efficiently and thoroughly

This position requires flexible availability. It is not a traditional fixed Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM role.

New technicians may begin primarily on daytime residential jobs while learning our equipment, processes, and service standards. As training progresses, technicians must also be available for commercial projects that may take place during evenings, overnight hours, or weekends.

Schedules may include:

• Weekday residential appointments
• Early-morning start times
• Evening or overnight commercial projects
• Weekend assignments
• Occasional schedule changes based on customer needs, project size, weather, or business demand

We plan and communicate schedules in advance whenever possible. However, because we serve both residential and commercial customers, weekly hours, start times, and assignments may vary.

• Physical, hands-on work involving lifting, bending, kneeling, and moving equipment
• Working in different homes and commercial environments each day
• Spending time indoors, outdoors, and traveling between jobs
• Working independently and alongside other technicians
• Learning multiple cleaning methods, surfaces, and pieces of equipment
• Completing some projects outside standard daytime business hours

• Strong communication: You respond to calls and messages, ask questions when something is unclear, provide updates, and speak up early about scheduling conflicts or problems.
• Reliability: You arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work. Customers and teammates must be able to count on you. Dependability is non-negotiable.
• Exceptional attention to detail: You notice the small things others overlook and care enough to correct them. If worrying about a speck of dust, a missed spot, a crooked piece of furniture, or an unfinished detail sounds excessive, this probably is not the right job for you.
• Pride in completing work correctly rather than simply finishing quickly
• Ability to manage time and complete jobs efficiently without cutting corners
• Physically able to lift and move equipment and remain active throughout a shift
• Willingness to learn and safely operate professional cleaning equipment
• Friendly, respectful, and comfortable communicating with customers
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from our shop or assigned meeting location

No professional cleaning experience is required. We will train the right person.
