GENERAL OVERVIEW | Sunshine Bouquet, a leader in the mass-market floral industry, is looking for a motivated candidate to join our Vase Sourcing Team in Miami, FL in a supporting role to our Purchasing Coordinators.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and track incoming container shipments.
- Work directly with (US and overseas) suppliers on shipping arrangements.
- Spot-check arriving shipments, identify problems early on.
- Organize paperwork for customs clearance.
- Coordinate delivery appointments for container shipments.
- Regularly update purchase orders to reflect correct quantities and ETA.
- Help create (or update) technical spec sheets for our vases, including packing instructions.
- Direct link with our production and warehousing departments
- Work with operations on potential improvements for vase packaging and container loading, to improve the efficiency of our production and warehouses.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- English language (proficient reading/writing/speaking)
- Spanish language (preferred but not required)
- Good communicator
- Detail oriented, analytic
- Reliable transportation necessary
- Proficient in working with numbers
- Comfortable with software programs, willing to learn new software
- Willing and able to take initiatives

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
