GENERAL OVERVIEW | Esmeralda Farms, a leading wholesaler in the floral industry, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITES | The Sales Representative’s duties include:
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential clients.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of each account.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists, market conditions and product specifications.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual roster analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and delivery schedules.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Promotes sales through other tasks and methods as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS | Candidates must have:
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience
- Familiarity with office software, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, and phone systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and cultivate client relationships
- Ability to meet sales goals
- Prospecting skills
- Product knowledge and presentation skills
- Ability to close/closing skills
- Self-confidence
