We are looking for an experienced full-time, hourly Service Technician to join our team and report to our newest location in Groveland/Clermont. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of attendance, hard work, initiative, ambition, compassion, and empathy. Pay Rate: This is an hourly, non-exempt position with annual compensation up to $60k ($20-$28 per hour, plus commissions; starting rate will be based on experience)

Job Schedule: Typical schedule is M-F, starting at 7:30am (some nights and weekends will be scheduled as we offer after-hours emergency service).

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to support our HVAC Service team. Duties include performing service and repairs on all makes and models of residential HVAC systems (inside and out) all while focusing on providing a "best in class" customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• • Thoroughly inspect and diagnose a wide variety of HVAC malfunctions. Complete the repairs necessary having clearly communicated with customers.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and the Sunshine team.
  • Maintain detailed notes of all interactions in customers' records.

• • Maintain inventory/supplies on your assigned company vehicle.
  • Maintain necessary tools
  • Must practice safety at all times

• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

Must have/be:

• Universal EPA Certification or Type II
• Completion of HVAC technical school preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical and refrigeration
• Ability to troubleshoot and determine extent of necessary repairs
• Knowledge of local codes and ordinances
• Willing to work in various weather conditions and through extreme temperatures
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work from 12' extension ladder and an 8' step ladder
• Tools
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Excellent customer service skills
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Must have solid, stable work history
• A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record; be substance-free; have clear background
• Willingness to obtain NATE CORE
