Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mental health assessments, evidence-based interventions, and working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role offers an opportunity to deliver impactful psychological services through outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings, supporting clients with a wide range of mental health concerns.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health interventions.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling tailored to clients’ specific needs across various age groups and diagnoses.
- Manage crisis intervention efforts to ensure client safety and stability during acute episodes.
- Document clinical notes accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain thorough medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and caregivers to coordinate care.
- Participate in supervision sessions, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Strong background in mental health diagnostics, psychological testing, and clinical counseling techniques.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and autism spectrum disorders support.
- Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, medical records management, and ethical standards in clinical practice.
- Telehealth therapy experience is preferred; ability to adapt services for virtual delivery is essential.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership skills are advantageous for senior roles.
