Sunshine Academy a National Accredited Early Childhood Education Center, has an opening for a Lead Infant Teacher Position.
Job Summary
As a Early Childhood Education Teacher at Sunshine Academy of Flagler, you’ll help care for little ones. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels, utilizing a comprehensive and hands - on curriculum
- Document learning experience through displays and pictures
- Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
- Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for students
- Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
- Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Must Pass Level II Background Screening
- Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents
- Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
- Shows initiative; strong work ethic
- Eagerness to Learn
- Reliable and Ready to Make a Difference
Lead Teacher
- Provide a 45 hour DCF Transcript
- Child Development Associate (CDA), Equivalent, or Formal Education
- CPR and First Aid
- Minimum of 2 Year Experience in Early Childhood Education
