Lead Machine Operator- B1

Schedule:

B1 Thursday thru Saturday with alternating Wednesdays

5am-5pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Production line Graders are following all Mastronardi safety policies and procedures.
• Lead a group of 16 to ensure tasks are done in a timely manner
• Ensure production quality of our produce meets customer specifications.
• Assign Graders to a specific line per play sheet, assist in rotating Graders throughout the Unit.
• Communicate pack quantities to ensure there are no production overages.
• Assist and support the Production Administrators to ensure a smooth product changeover process.
• Work within the Unit to improve efficiencies and packing to specifications.
• Coach, train and mentor Graders; escalating any performance concerns to Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally is required
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a warehouse/production line environment.
• Prior experience as a line lead in a production environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in our refrigerated warehouse with 50° F temperature-controlled zones.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending, squatting, and crawling on a regular basis
