Sunset is unveiling its new Cafe and have a few new opportunities available. We have 2 Cook roles available:
- Part time will be 16-24 hours per week Shift time will be 11:30 am - 8 pm.
- Full time will be 32 hours per week. Shift time will be 11:30 am - 8 pm.
Scheduling will include working every other weekend which includes Saturdays and Sundays. This position has a holiday requirement of every other holiday.
Wage: starting at $17.25-$19 per hour *Experience considered

Essential Functions of your Job:
- Assures that all food service procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Assists in planning normal and special diet menus as directed. Assures that food is available for preparation.
- Assists in developing methods for determining quality and quantity of food served.
- Attends department or staff meetings as directed or called.
- Assists in the production line to assure that meals are prepared on time.
- Communicates and interacts effectively with residents, family, and other departments.
- Must be able to push, pull, move and or lift up to 50 pounds
Requirements
Line cook experience preferred.
Food experience in healthcare a plus.
Someone that wants to make a difference, have fun at work, and has a willingness to learn!
Salary : $17 - $19
