What You'll Do
Lead Community Operations
- Oversee day-to-day community operations to ensure exceptional resident care and service.
- Develop and support department leaders in achieving operational, clinical, and financial goals.
- Foster a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, engagement, and service excellence.
- Serve as the primary point of leadership for residents, families, employees, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure the community remains safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
- Promote a resident-focused environment that values dignity, independence, choice, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with clinical and support teams to ensure resident needs are met.
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
- Drive continuous improvements based on resident feedback and quality outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead survey, licensing, and audit readiness efforts.
- Oversee safety, emergency preparedness, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives.
- Ensure timely investigation and resolution of incidents and concerns.
- Monitor occupancy, census, labor, revenue, and expenses.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to support community growth.
- Identify operational efficiencies while maintaining exceptional resident experiences.
- Utilize financial data and metrics to guide strategic decision-making.
- Recruit, hire, coach, and retain talented team members.
- Provide leadership, accountability, and professional development for department leaders.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention efforts.
- Ensure compliance with training, certification, and continuing education requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Active Assisted Living/Community Administrator License strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Gerontology, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, healthcare, hospitality, or a related service industry.
- Demonstrated success managing operations, budgets, staffing, compliance, and resident satisfaction.
Candidates with the following active CBRF certifications are strongly preferred:
- Standard Precautions
- Fire Safety
- First Aid & Choking
- Medication Administration
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Knowledge of senior living regulations and compliance requirements.
- Financial management and budgeting experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and senior living management systems.
