Job Summary
The Online/Phone Sales & Customer Service Representative provides professional, courteous, and efficient service to customers placing orders via phone and online platforms. This role is responsible for processing sales orders accurately, supporting account inquiries, resolving customer concerns, and contributing to customer retention and business growth through excellent service and product knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process customer sales orders via phone and online platforms accurately and efficiently
- Finalize sales orders and invoices in a timely manner
- Assist customers with account reconciliation and billing inquiries
- Resolve customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by actively listening and responding to customer needs
- Identify opportunities to suggest additional or alternative products to better serve customer needs
- Notify sales representatives when orders fall below the $700 delivery minimum
- Collect pick sheets at 5:00 p.m. and assign orders to warehouse pickers based on pick rates
- Open new customer accounts and update existing account information as needed
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of related sales or customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to professionalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Strong attention to detail
