What are the responsibilities and job description for the Party Cat Chef position at Sunset Watersports?
Job Summary
The Party Cat Chef is a single person position that will work with the deck and dining room crew. The position is responsible for executing BBQ style fare for the Do It All lunch for buffet for up to 105 ppl, and a Caribbean style dinner buffet on our Dinner Cruise. Chef is responsible for daily inventory, safe food-handling procedures, adherence to industry standard, coordination and cooperation with the lead Chef in regards to ordering and operations. The Chef position is entitled to an equal share in tips earned for the day.
Skills
- Extensive banquet experience with a strong background in catering and event food service.
- Proven supervising experience within busy kitchen or hospitality environments.
- In-depth knowledge of dietary department practices and food handling safety procedures.
- Exceptional food production skills with a focus on culinary excellence in fine dining settings.
- Strong team management abilities coupled with leadership qualities that motivate staff.
- Experience in inventory management, and kitchen operations management.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
