About the Role: Sunset Transportation is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Logistics Coordinator to join Brokerage department on the weekend 2nd shift. The Logistics Coordinator- Weekends 2nd Shift will focus on maintaining and expanding additional revenue with our most strategic accounts across multiple business segments and will involve cross-discipline job duties. This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact and drive change. This position will work the hours of 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM What You’ll Do:
Manage shipment creation, load acceptance, appointment scheduling
Vet and Build carrier relationships, promote use of Sunset technology
Maintain tracking updates, accurate profiles, and customer performance
Secure competitive rates for freight at high service levels
Resolve issues with delays, service failures
Collaborate internally on pricing, sourcing and special projects
Serves as Carrier Sales/Account Manager backup and escalation point communicate for assistance
What We’re Looking For
Experience in freight brokerage, specifically truckload and LTL.
Proven success in building and growing customer accounts
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Business acumen and customer service experience
Strong salesmanship and presentation abilities
Ability to work Friday through Monday, with some afterhours
